Admission Requirements:

Admission to the University shall be through the Admission Committee for Higher Education and Scientific Research in accordance with the general conditions of admission to the Sudanese universities according to the following conditions:
- Students who wish to enroll in higher education institutions to obtain the Bachelor's degree and technical diploma must submit the Sudanese secondary school certificate or its equivalent for the current year only.
- The student who is applying for a school certificate other than the Sudanese certificate must present the original of the secondary certificate detailed in the degrees authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the Sudanese Embassy and approved by the Ministry of Federal Education in Sudan and a copy thereof for adoption and return the original in time.

In addition to these conditions, the University shall:

1. memorizing the Holy Quran for applicants to(Qira’at) the reading department at the Faculty of the Holy Quran.
2. Memorizing ten parts of the Holy Quran for applicants to the Department of Islamic Studies, Faculty of the Holy Quran.
3. Save three parts for applicants to other colleges.
4. Obtaining a full Quran memorization leave from the Standing Committee for Examinations of the Holy Qura'an at the university and passing the equivalence of the secondary Sudanese certificate for applicants from the memorizers of the Holy Quran.

Competition materials for different colleges:

First: The Academic Department:

1. The percentage of admission to the colleges below shall be calculated from the following seven subjects after satisfying the general condition:

The faculties are:

2. The percentage of admission to the colleges below shall be calculated from the following seven subjects after satisfying the general condition:

Second: Technical Section:

5. The percentage of admission to the colleges below shall be calculated from the following seven subjects after satisfying the general condition:

The faculties are:

Faculty of Quran - Economics and Administrative Sciences - Information Systems - Psychology and Kindergarten - Education.

Third: Certificate of eligibility and readings:

General condition of admission:

- Success in the secondary certificate section of the Koran and Islamic studies by 60%.
- Obtaining 50% in each of the seven articles from which the percentage of admission is calculated.
6. The percentage of admission to the colleges below shall be calculated from the following seven subjects after satisfying the general condition:
The best three subjects from: Quran - Interpretation - Tawheed - Term - Jurisprudence - Heritage The best three subjects from: syntax- morphology - rhetoric - Literature - Compsition -
The best subjects from: Mathematics - History - English.

The faculties are:

Faculty of Quran - Economics and Administrative Sciences - Information Systems - Psychology and Kindergarten - Education.

University requirements for admission:

- The Faculty of the Holy Quran requires the university to memorize the last ten parts of the Holy Quran.

- For the rest of the colleges require the preservation of the last three parts of the Quran.

- Certificate of memorization of the Quran issued by the university to be nominated for the Faculty of the Holy Quran only.
